Hong Kong Pools – Top Four Infinity Pools in Hong Kong

In Hong Kong, a dip in a pool is a refreshing respite from the city’s sweltering weather. The high-rise city offers a number of stunning infinity pools where you can take in the gorgeous views of Victoria Harbour and even enjoy some exercise. Portier Explorer has rounded up the top four of them to help you plan your next staycation!

The Tung Chung Swimming Pool is unique in its seashell-like design, which enhances ventilation and allows natural sunlight to flood the interior. The building is also home to a waterfall, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers. You can also catch the Ngong Ping Cable Car at the outdoor pool or grab a seat to people-watch and watch the sun go down over the water.

Located in the seafront of Ma On Shan, the spacious Ma On Shan Swimming Complex looks out to the Tolo Harbour. The pool is home to a main pool with spectator stands that can hold 1,200 people and two smaller training and teaching pools. The kids will have fun splashing around at the two water playgrounds featuring mushroom and tree-shaped fountains, while adults can work on their strokes in the 50-meter indoor pool.

One of the best things about this pool is that it’s free to enter! Though it can get crowded on weekends, it’s the perfect place to relax and soak up some rays. You’ll want to bring a towel, swimsuit, and a locker. It’s also a good idea to have some HK$ on hand in case you want to buy a snack or beverage at the poolside bar.

Despite the gloomy weather, plenty of swimmers ventured out to the many hongkong pools on Thursday. Kennedy Town Swimming Pool, a bigger facility offering two indoor pools and two outdoor pools, welcomed its visitors in the early hours of the day. The pool’s indoor pool is a 50-meter training pool, while the outdoor pools are a toddler’s pool and a teaching pool.

It’s a short walk from both Choi Hung and Diamond Hill MTR stations on the green Kwun Tong line, or you can take the 116 bus from Causeway Bay to reach the location. The swimming pool is open daily from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm.

The swimming pool is part of the YMCA’s fitness centre and has four waterslides, including a 9-metre waterfall. The pool is also equipped with a diving board and is suitable for all ages and abilities. Guests can also enjoy a wide range of aquatic classes at the YMCA, including aerobics and aquafitness. You can find out more about YMCA activities and classes by visiting the official website. You can also sign up for their newsletter to receive the latest updates and offers. In addition, you can also join the YMCA’s membership programme to receive discounts on various activities and facilities. You can even earn points by being a member. This way, you can redeem them for gifts!
